As often happens in the corporate America, you can work your way up, make great money, make incredible sacrifices and feel that you have attained some security, only to have circumstances or burnout push you out. I finally had to take two years off - just to recover! Meanwhile, my business partner, Donald, was working incredible hours at what turned out to be a dead end job. When I decided to re-enter the workforce, my skin actually crawled with anxiety at every interview ... the idea of going back to a 50-80 work week was already stressing me out ... just the IDEA! Both of us recognized that we had to turn our individual obstacles into a huge opportunity. We said "NO" to starting over from the bottom, submitting to long hours and basically having the corporate world own us. We were then able to say "YES!" to all the things we truly wanted our lives to be. When we refused to start over again within the corporate world, it started us on a path that has led us to ultimate freedom and happiness. We were always looking for opportunities, and a main objective was to be in business for ourselves while helping others. Personal growth & financial independence became our priorities! We opened up our vision and found an incredible business we could work from home. A business that allows us to generate the income we want, while controlling our own time. We work together now, planning our days as we choose. Best of all, we're able to travel all over the world without worrying about anything! The bottom line is that we're in control now. We're in control of how much we make and in control of how we spend our time. The fact that we can now offer that to others is incredibly gratifying.
